The Embassy of the Republic of Burundi in Washington, D.C., would like to inform the public that starting effectively from Monday, November 16, 2020, the Embassy will resume receiving visa applications.
The processing time is 15 working days.
Also, all travelers entering or leaving Burundian territory must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test carried out before 72 hours of boarding.
The screening test ($100.00) and hotel costs are the responsibility of the traveler. For further details on visa applications, kindly check our consular section.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Embassy of Burundi is temporarily closed to the public.
However, if you want to drop off your mail, you can put the envelope under the door. For packages, they can be delivered hand to hand on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 10:00am to 04:00pm.
