Burundi Nationals wishing to return to Burundi amid COVID-19 related closures, please fill out the following form!
The Embassy of the Republic of Burundi in Washington, D.C., would like to inform the public that starting effectively from Monday, November 16, 2020, the Embassy will resume receiving visa applications.
The processing time is 15 working days.
Also, all travelers entering or leaving Burundian territory must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test carried out before 72 hours of boarding. Upon arrival in Burundi, all travelers must be screened and comply with a strict 72-hour confinement measure in one of the hotel establishments provided for this purpose ( www.booking.tourisme.gov.bi)
The screening test ($100.00) and hotel costs are the responsibility of the traveler. For further details on visa application, kindly check on this website (Consular Services).
